Welcome! I'm Alanna Rishaan Porter (She/Her), and I am currently based in Bloomington, IN, as I complete my final year at Indiana University. Originally from Indianapolis, IN, my passion for performing began early, singing alongside my dad at church. From there, it blossomed into something that became an essential part of who I am. You could not keep me from the stage- from show choir to theatre to color guard, the list goes on and on! Performing gives me an incomparable sense of fulfillment, which led me to realize: “This is what I want to do for the rest of my life!” There's nothing quite like sharing stories and connecting with others through the stage, and I'm so grateful to be deeply immersed in this world as I pursue it as a career. You might have caught me on stage at The Muny or Music Theatre Wichita. When I am not performing theatrically, I sing with my band, 'Yours Truly, ' all over Bloomington. I also have a passion for choreographing and have done several projects at Avon High School, Monrovia High School, and IU.

 

When I'm not performing, you'll likely find me crafting, enjoying my favorite TV shows and movies, diving into a good book, or spending quality time with my nephews!
